A rich specimen of Wulfenite with Pyromorphite from Wheatley mine at Schuylkill in Pennsylvania, USA. Fine bright orange intergrown tabular to blocky Wulfenite crystals covering an area up to 4 cm x 1.5 cm and in many other areas, individual crystals are in the 1 mm region associated with bright lime green Pyromorphite on crystalline Quartz covering a Galena/Sphalerite matrix. Wheatley is an old mine, having begun operations in 1851 and named for its owner, Charles Moore Wheatley.
