A choice miniature of cubic, purple Fluorite crystals measuring to 1.8 cm sparsely scattered with brassy Chalcopyrite crystals from Frazer's Hush mine near to Rookhope, Weardale, Co. Durham. The Fluorite is the characteristic Frazer's Hush colour, in dappled shades of lilac with misty whiter zones. A 1 cm pitted mass of Galena protrudes slightly from the base and adjacent to this are glued on paper labels L.G. 431 (the late Lindsay Greenbank) and P.G. 581 (Patricia Greenbank). The Fluorite displays an attractive translucency and a glossy lustre. It is accompanied with a Patricia Greenbank label which states "295 Level, Greencleugh Vein, Frazer's Hush mine, Rookhope... recovered by Gary Bellamy in 1993".
