A stunning small cabinet display specimen of double terminated, bright and gemmy, acidic golden-yellow Mimetite crystals from the Pingtouling mine in Liannan County, China. Gemmy, hexagonal crystals to 7 mm long richly coat the top surface and one end face of a rectangular block of a rusty-brown matrix. Most crystals display colour zoning, often with silky, rich-lemon centres and gemmy deep golden-yellow terminations. This is a wonderful Mimetite of amazing and beautiful colour from the Pingtouling mine in China.
