A rare, small miniature specimen displaying at least five sprays of acicular, deep sapphire blue Buttgenbachite crystals to around 5 mm, mostly concentrated in pale Chrysocolla. From the Likasi mine in the Kambove District of Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo, Buttgenbachite, the Buttgenbachite lines several cavities in a Cuprite-Malachite matrix. Buttgenbachite, a copper hydroxyhalide, is the rare nitrate (NO3) analogue of Connellite.
