PYROMORPHITE

SPECIMEN DESCRIPTION

A beautiful, vertically stacked cluster of horizontally-striated, hopper-growth Pyromorphite crystals from the famous Daoping mine in Gongcheng County, Guilin Prefecture, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. The crystals have a bright, glassy lustre and are of an exquisite acidic lime-green. A terrific thumbnail Daoping Pyromorphite, mounted on a small, clear acrylic base.
