Bright orange to yellow-orange Mimetite crystals measuring to around 6 mm makes for a beautiful display of the stepped habit form. The crystals cover a matrix of crystalline Mimetite and it is from the Pingtouling mine in Liannan County in the Qingyuan Prefecture of Guangdong Province, China. This mine is also referred to as the Dashuihu mine by the local inhabitants now that it is abandoned and flooded; Dashuihu meaning "big water pool".
