A single, well-formed and lustrous, silver-grey crystal of highly modified cuboctahedral Galena, 5 cm across, showing good multi-stepped surface detail, from Frazer's Hush mine close to Rookhope in Weardale, County Durham, England. The Galena crystal is positioned at one end of a small, 5 cm long matrix, with transparent purple Fluorite crystals up to 4 mm. A lovely display piece and excellent example of Weardale Galena.
