A superb and decent sized cabinet specimen of composite milky Quartz crystals scattered over with brassy Chalcopyrite crystals from the Caradon mining district near to St. Cleer in the Liskeard District of Cornwall, England. The Quartz forms as opaque crystals with their prism bodies slightly tapering towards their bases. In most examples a single Quartz crystal forms the central core and is then surrounded with smaller encircling crystals forming an almost crown-like termination. The habit is fascinating and aesthetic. and with the addition of overgrowing Chalcopyrite crystals, makes a classic example for display.
