A magnificent and classic large cabinet specimen of crystallised Aragonite from the old iron mining area around Frizington, west Cumbria, England. A fine group of parallel growth crystals of translucent, bright, lustrous Aragonite crystals measures to 10 cm. These are creamy to colourless with a slender, tapering spear habit and contain minor inclusions of black Goethite. It's a delightful aesthetic group of Aragonite crystals and a top quality example for this famous mining district.
