SPECIMEN DESCRIPTION

A Japanese classic with great intensity of colour. Oppu mine is famous for its bubbly botryoidal Rhodochrosite which are much sought after. This specimen features Rhodochrosite coating Sphalerite, Pyrite and Quartz. It is small cabinet in size, providing a very nice display of colour and the Rhodochrosite, rather than being smooth botryoids, is made up of many microbotryoids, adding detail.
