Is this the ultimate Native Copper specimen? It is certainly absolutely beautiful, but delicate too. Wafer thin, it is a remarkable piece of natural crystallization. Firstly, there is the almost organic looking dendritic form, fanning upwards from a point at its base, but added to that is the superb pinkish copper-orange colour and metallic lustre. It is stunning specimen from White Pine mine, Ontonagon County, Michigan. Ex David Hardman collection, no. 199.
