A scaffold-like network of long prismatic Pyromorphite crystals from the MMM mine at Broken Hill in Australia. Lustrous, light chestnut brown Pyromorphite crystals measure to nearly 3 cm and display extended zones of parallel growth. The crystals have glassy exterior faces and vary markedly in diameter from thin and acicular to broad and pillar-like. A rather captivating miniature Cerussite displaying an unusually developed group of crystals from Broken Hill in Queensland, one of the world's greatest specimen mines. Ex Milton Lavers Collection.
