SPECIMEN DESCRIPTION

Gemmy, lustrous Fluorite crystals displaying aesthetic purple colour zoning to great effect, from the Yaogangxian mine in Yizhang County, Chenzhou Prefecture in Hunan Province, China. Excellent cubic Fluorite crystals with truncated edges measure to 1.9 cm and form an intergrown group on a cellular white Quartz matrix. A very fine specimen of gemmy zoned Fluorite from the Yaogangxian mine.
