PYROMORPHITE

SPECIMEN DESCRIPTION

This magnificent small cabinet specimen of Pyromorphite displays well developed, barrel habit, light brown crystals of good lustre and measuring to 8 mm. These crystals exhibit fine parallel growth and are intergrown over a Galena matrix. This fine specimen is from the Rosenberg mine at Braubach, Bad Ems in the Lahn valley of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
