Two inter-grown, lustrous, colourless gemmy crystals of Topaz from the Nujiang Valley in China. This miniature measures to 3.3 cm and displays fine multi-faced terminations. Pegmatite outcrops in the highlands along the Nujiang (Nu river) valley, which extends for about 200 km from Gongshan County in the north, through Fugong County in the centre, to Lushui County in the south. The Gaoligong mountains are the highlands to the west of the valley.
